In my videos I often say that looking at the painting is the same as listening carefully. The course I take in the Fanfare series is completely focused on listening to what the painting wants. I forget myself. In this sketch I wanted to make the street bright yellow. However, it became deep red and horses came walking towards it. No idea where they came from but it felt like the painting was already waiting for them and I am happy with it.
